I live by the F’s in my life. The good ol’F words!
The first is FEAR. And I’ve seen a lot of cliches about fear:
Forget Everything And Run
Face Everything And Rise
Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway
Procrastination is just Fear
Fear and Excitement are the same physiological response in your body, it’s just what you’ve labeled it
…fill in your favorite one here!
All of them may have some truth in them. It’s all about our own perspective and what we do with our fear.
If we dwell within our fear, it can rob us of our confidence and our courage. It can stop us in our tracks. Stall out any momentum and keep us playing and feeling small.
Now here’s the thing.
Your next level lives on the OTHER side of fear.
“Everything you want is on the other side of Fear” ~Jack Canfield
On the other side of your procrastination.
The other side of playing small. Of holding yourself back. Doubts. That voice in your head (you know the one, it’s not a cheerleader!)
So how do we face that fear and get to the other side?
That’s where the second F comes in. For me, it’s about having FAITH over FEAR. And also having faith in the RESULTS.
I have complete faith that my prayers will be answered OR NOT according to God’s will. And that is ALWAYS right.
WHOA! Wait a minute, prayers NOT being answered is part of my faith? YOU BET!!
I am thankful for the UNANSWERED prayers. There is a reason and I have faith that it is saving me FROM something or FOR something better. (What do you know, more F’s right?!)
Think about it for a moment. Just imagine, that you know with 100% certainty that whatever is going to happen next, success or failure, is EXACTLY what needs to happen for you to live your best life.
Now this is where the third F then comes in.
Freedom.
FREEEEEEEEDOMMMMMMMMMM!
If we knew that everything that happens to us is really happening for us, then all kinds of opportunities open up. We can take more chances knowing that if something works out, it’s in our best interest. If it doesn’t work out, then that is in our best interest.
If we can let go of an attachment to the result, we can open ourselves up to so much more. We can make choices and know that regardless of where we end up, it’s the result that is needed (remember, it’s all happening FOR us, not TO us). We can let go of the worry, the stress, and yes, the FEAR of what would/could/should be. It can then just BE.
Sounds like freedom to me 🙂

Feeling some fear? F it!! Do it anyway!
October 20, 2022
For me, it is so true that most of my unanswered prayers turned out to be blessings that freed me up for new and better blessings. When I remember (and that’ my go-to attitude) to look for the fun, joy, love, and lessons in all my experiences, life works better FOR me, removing feelings of victimhood.
Gina, you are so right. F It! And do it anyway!
