Have you ever heard the saying, “what we put into life, we get back?”
Or maybe you’ve heard the phrase, “what we focus on, we get”? The truth is, life is actually pretty simple. The things we think about are the things we bring to life, and the things we concentrate on are the things we attract.
Sound simple?
Think about it this way: If we think big and believe in ourselves, we are open to receiving and accepting even more than we thought was possible. But, if we focus on the things that stress us out, well, we’ll feel even more stressed.
Our thoughts and beliefs are powerful tools that we have right at our disposal, and the good news is that we have the power to choose how and when we use them.
The key to creating the life we want is understanding that our thoughts create our experiences. If we can believe this, we have access to an incredibly powerful tool.
WE are the only ones who can think our thoughts, which means WE are the creators of our lives and experiences. No one else does it for us. No one else can do this for us.
Sure, others may say or do things that impact us, but it’s our response to those things that really matters. As Jack Canfield teaches in his Success Principles (join my free program on the Success Principles here), our outcomes are the sum of the event (what happened, the facts), and our response (what we thought, felt, or did).
So make a goal to think thoughts that will manifest positive results to get you where you want to be.
Why not focus on the past?
Some may think that the lessons of the past are where you should focus. The past is done. We can choose to dwell on it and try to figure out what went wrong, OR, we take the lesson, move forward and focus on the future. Our point of power is ALWAYS in the present moment, in what we are thinking and feeling right now. No person, place, or thing has power over us because we are the only thinkers in our minds.
Wow, right?! 🤯

Everything in our lives is only a thought, and a thought can be changed. That means we are truly free to create the life we want. We can be as successful as we make up our minds to be.
And so, while it may feel very complicated sometimes, life is actually pretty simple: your thoughts create your experiences.
What you put into it is what you get back, and what you focus on is what you attract.
Here’s a POWERFUL tip that transformed everything for me. Think about WHAT YOU WANT, not about what you don’t want. Focusing on what you don’t want (which is what many people do and may be easier), will just bring you MORE of what you don’t want! Who wants that, right?!
So, think big, choose your thoughts wisely, and believe in yourself. Remember that your point of power is always in the present moment, and you are the only thinker in your mind. You have the power to create the life you want.
